Deodorants and Antiperspirants

Many deodorants and antiperspirants contain aluminium chlorohydrate or the closely related aluminium chloride.  Some health
and safety concerns have been raised about aluminium chlorohydrate, because aluminuium
is capable of passing through the blood-brain barrier.  Aluminium is also not nutritionally necessary, so some people have suggested that absorbing it, even in trace amounts,
through the skin is probably not terribly beneficial.

Natural Alum Crystal

Alum crystal stone does not block the natural process of sweating like ordinary deodorants, but it stops proliferation of bacteria found on the surface skin, which causes unpleasant body odours.

Properties:

 ·         Ideal for people with sensitive skin who do not tolerate ordinary deodorants very well.

 ·       Odourless, it doesn't spoil perfumes.

 ·        Hypoallergenic, successfully tested by dermatologists.

 ·         Economical, it can be used daily for several months.

Simply apply the alum stone deodorant on wet armpits after a shower. Clean with water after every use.

Jiaogulan Tea (immortality tea)

Description: Jiaogulan, known in China as the “Herb of Immortality” and “Ginseng of the South”, is an ancient herb with numerous healing and medical properties. Scientific research studies in China have shown that Jiaogulan regulates blood sugar levels, lowers cholesterol, helps to build immunity, delays the ageing process, and fights cancer. It is also a herbal remedy for treating obesity.

Health Benefits: While Jiaogulan tea is great for high cholesterol and obesity problems, it can also improve and strengthen digestion, allowing an underweight person to increase absorption of nutrients and gain weight in the form of lean muscle mass. It enhances the heart pumping function, improving contraction of the heart muscle and reduces the risk of strokes and heart attacks.  Jiaogulan tea is a superb immune-enhancer and antioxidant for all ages.

Taste
: The tea has a slightly sweet flavour with spice in the overtones.

Preparation instruction
: To make the Jiaogulan tea, simply add a teaspoon with hot boiled water for 3-5 minutes.
